Port Street Commons is a 24,000-square-foot new construction located along Easton’s Port Street Corridor. Opening in Fall 2024, the project is part of a broader effort to meet several community goals and includes both The Arc at Port Street and The Residences at Port Street.
The Arc at Port Street will be The Arc Central Chesapeake Region’s new Eastern Shore headquarters, providing additional choices around services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the region. The project includes a Community Hub, a Behavioral Health Suite, and offices and professional development space.
The Residences at Port Street expand affordable housing options in the area, providing nine 2- and 3-bedroom units, directly addressing the needs of low to moderate-income families. With a focus on accessibility and community integration, Port Street Commons will offer thoughtfully designed living spaces while contributing to the revitalization of the Easton neighborhood.
The development aims to provide high-quality, affordable housing and services in a region that is traditionally underserved. Through collaboration with local government, community organizations, and developers, Port Street Commons will help meet critical demand while contributing to the area’s ongoing urban renewal.
Port Street Commons will also benefit from its strategic location, with proximity to essential services and community amenities. The project further underscores Easton’s commitment to creating inclusive, vibrant communities by ensuring that affordable housing is available within reach of key resources.
As the town of Easton continues to grow, Port Street Commons represents a step forward in providing creative housing solutions that are both sustainable and socially responsible, making it a cornerstone of future development strategy. The grand opening ceremony in November will mark a significant milestone in this transformative project.
